Solemn opening of the Island

Refined dinner, laser and barman shows or a concert by De Mono are only some of the events accompanying the official opening of the five-star Mikołajki Hotel on the Birds' Island. The event referring to the sailing characteristics of the facility, combined with class and elegance, was held on 23 November and attended by celebrities, local authorities and journalists.

That exceptional Saturday's evening in the sailing capital of Poland was conducted by Irek Bieleninik. Both the decoration, including a yacht in front of the reception, and the attractions, were to stress the character and uniqueness of the facility.
The evening began by a laser show by Kamil Dzielny and Grupa Profit. In the official part, short speeches were made by the Hotel Director and Presidents of Inpro S.A., who cut the ribbon with the Mayor of Mikołajki after a while thus officially opening the facility. Then refined dinner brightened up by a jazz trio was held. After dinner, a barman show with fireworks started. A layer cake made by the chef and resembling the shape of the building body was a surprise of the evening.

Just before 11 p.m., the concert of that evening's star, De Mono band, started. Their greatest hits, including "Statki na niebie," delighted the audience and were the start of a party which lasted till the crack of dawn.

All those willing to do so, while at the Mikołajki Hotel, could visit its most interesting places. Lively interest was aroused by luxury apartments with private mooring places, and by an exclusive boat with wooden finish. The cosy English style New Island Pub and the modern Night Club After Dark with a bowling alley and pools tables could also be visited. Many attractions were also prepared by the Decus Aquae SPA & Wellness where the guests could take advantage of show treatment procedures and see the Sauna World and ten treatment rooms, including the VIP Room with a private jacuzzi.
