In connection with our Koncept estate and the neighbouring project, we have planned the redevelopment of Człuchowska Street with the construction of an elevated junction to ensure the safety of pedestrian crossings located there, the redevelopment and commissioning of street lighting, and the construction of a new transport link, i.e. Bramińskiego Street, with the construction of lighting and an accessway to primary school No. 12.
A tripartite road construction agreement has been executed (pursuant to Article 16 of the Public Roads Act) with the Municipality of the City of Gdańsk in connection with the Koncept housing estate developed by us, and with the neighbouring project.
The broad scope of this agreement includes the redevelopment of Człuchowska Street over a section of approx. 320 m / with a 5.5 m wide driveway and 2.0 m wide foot pavements / along with the construction of an elevated junction ensuring the safety of pedestrian crossings, the reconstruction and commissioning of street lighting, as well as the construction of a new transport link. This link comprises Bramińskiego Street, approx. 410 m long, with a 5 m wide driveway and 2.0 m wide foot pavements on either side, including the construction of lighting and accessway to primary school No. 12, and a financial contribution to the construction of a section of Piotrkowska Street.
The reconstruction of Człuchowska Street is being carried out by the Main Contractor, the road construction company called MTM SA.
All the road works, including the demolition of the road slab pavement, the construction of a completely new driveway structure covered with an asphalt mixture, the construction of the rainwater drainage system and new foot pavements and lighting are scheduled to be completed at the end of July 2023.
As part of greenery with the urban surface water retention system on Człuchowska and Bramińskiego Streets, 63 trees will be planted and shrubs / ornamental grasses / flower meadows / rose beds will occupy more than 3,000 m2 of green space in the right of way of these streets.
We are aware that the works will cause some inconvenience, however, once completed the road system will be fully modernised and will be of great benefit to the residents.
